Mitsuwa Marketplace is a Japanese grocery chain and this location is now located at the Del Amo mall. There was a time that it was located near Carson; however, it's moved to the mall and they're never looking back. My favorite thing about this mall is their underrated food court featuring ramen, sukiyaki beef rice bowls, tempura bowls, yakitori, udon, and mochi donuts. Each of these restaurants are delicious and I could live off these restaurants if I wanted to. The thing is that eating at restaurants can be expensive, so the silver lining is that I could buy all the Japanese ingredients at the grocery store so that I could make it at home. They have high quality fish and meat, hard-to-find Japanese ingredients, and baked goods. I am hoping that the incoming tariffs doesn't hurt the business here too much; however, this place remains as a top place for me to find Japanese ingredients. Torrance has an abundance of Japanese grocery chains and, admittedly, this grocery store is one of the smaller options (which is why it is four stars rather than five); however, I do think that they have enough selections to address most of my needs!

Definitely one of the best Mitsuwa out there. They have a food court, a Kinokuniya Bookstore, and other shops and food places. It's incredible and huge and wish the one in Northridge was like this, or at least had a food court. We've only been here a handful of times due to the drive. They always have great stock of what we need as far as grocery items and bento, even Pokémon figures! The staff are friendly and everything is also so clean and organized. They even have most of the side of the grocery closed off so you are forced to enter/exit through a little area to your right, as soon as you walk in. The food court is always a must try! Delicious Japanese food and lots of unique finds. Some are just dessert places but good to have a mix. IG: @ammysalamii

Japanese market with a food court inside. Great option if you're craving Japanese food but aren't sure what to get or want multiple foods. They have everything. It can be difficult to find a table once inside and even parking outside can also get busy. Also, eating there they provide actual plates, bowls etc on trays but finding where to return the items was at first unclear and then slightly difficult to navigate. Basically the stalls that provide the plates, bowls etc do have a designated window/area to return to the proper place but can be difficult to spot. Overall, good options, good food! And it's in the same lot as the Del Amo mall so you can always walk around after eating all the food.

Ample parking. When you walk in a big welcome. The food court to the left and it loops around the market itself is not that big but it has plenty of good stuff and really delicious stuff as well. I won't lie I went for the Sake because it's delicious and I love it! I will definitely be going back for other things of course.

Mitsuwa Marketplace in Torrance near Del Amo Mall is THE spot for authentic Japanese food, items, and groceries! The selection is incredible, from fresh sushi, ramen, udon and more at the food court to a ton of snack and personal care items in the grocery part. I got some ShiSeido sunscreen and Japanese candy to try while we waited for the line to die down a bit before joining it to get some Ramen. It was a lively spot on a Friday night!!

I love Mitsuwa and this location is solid. Tons of free samples when I came on Saturday and they had a lot of fresh rice balls which I got 15 of for my party. They have a lot of restaurants attached as well which is good if you want a quick bite.

Mitsuwa Marketplace is mainly a Japanese grocery store but also has other grocery products, a food court, a Japanese bookstore, and a gachapon station. I love how modern and clean it is, although it looks bigger than it feels especially when there's a lot of people in it. Since I'm not from the area, I mainly went for the food court area and the gachapon machines. The only down side was they start closing off the dining area kinda early even though there were still a lot of people eating and a few food places were still open. The food court area had all types of food: Ramen, curry, udon, mochi donuts, korean hotdog (corndog), etc. It's worth checking out just to have lunch or a snack there. I was also able to find cute Japanese snacks as well as Japanese skincare and makeup! They also have different flavors of Choya Plum Wine which I haven't seen in other states. If you love the gachapon machines I recommend you visiting but be warned it's kind of expensive just for miniature figurines and trinkets.
